What a dream...to live in a lighthouse! The photos are beautiful. Very interesting to read their stories in their own words from their journals. We recently visited the lighthouse, so it made it even more fun to read. The book will be a good conversation piece on the coffee table.
My mom loves lighthouses and has visited many of them, especially Marshall's Point. I gave this to her as a gift and she loves it. The pictures are stunning, but the story they share about their "lighthouse living" is just as enjoyable.
I bought this for my mom for her birthday. She loves lighthouses and will be going to Maine next year to visit some. I thought it would be a good book for her. The pictures are wonderful and she has already finished the book-so I guess that means she enjoyed it. She says she would recommend it.
