My 4 year old specifically asked for a pop-up space book for Christmas and I was a bit worried I wouldn't be able to find one but in comes Amazon with everything you could every want. This book has nice short bits of text throughout the pages so you can read a little or more depending on attention span for you child and age. It has lots of easy to digest facts and the planets "pop-up" but really they unfold to become larger when you turn the page which is so fun for little ones. This book is one that we watch closely because it's easy for a small child to tear the planets by mistake- simply by folding them back incorrectly or opening too hard. We're really pleased with this find.
This is such a cute book. My 4 year old loves it, and it is appropriately educational. He learned quite a bit, without it being overwhelming or too abstract. He had me read it to him a few times, and now he enjoys reading it on his own. I'd say age range for this book would be 3-5 years.
Very nice book and the sound button is a hit!I would recommend it for even earlier age than advertised (3-5). It is a wonderful book to introduce toddlers to space and planets. The pop-ups are engaging and not too delicate for tiny hands.
My preschooler enjoyed the pop-out images very much, but this book is about ten pages long. It seems to end abruptly - some of the outer planets are missing. The last few pages seem to have nothing to do with the first couple pages.I paid $12 for this. I expected better. I would not recommend that you purchase this book.
Love this pop up book. My son has A copy and it’s been a family favorite. We purchased this copy as a Christmas present for my nephew. I’m sure he’ll enjoy the pop ups and sound effects as much as we do!
I bought this for my four-year-old grandson and he is crazy about it. He can’t get enough of it!
Awesome book! The red rocketship on every right corner of the page is a perfect add on. I had my son push it before we turned each page and it sounds like a rocket ship ready for blast off. It was a great way to keep my little ones engaged. Hard cover and pages.
