This book was very helpful in passing Dr. Engelking's Physiology course. I would STRONGLY recommend it for any Tufts vet students.

Having used this text for over a year, with great results in the course, I will gladly attest to this book's worth. Possibly the best feature of this book is the great, in-depth explanations for each question, not only explaining why the correct answer is correct, but also why the other answer choices would not be correct. Highly recommended for study aid in review for Physiology exams.
This book provides a very good quick reference in a Q/A format. It is quite detailed in many regards, perhaps being more in-depth than needed for veterinary students in some subject matter. It provides a good answer discussion so it can still serve as a teaching book. However, certainly not every physiology topic is covered, and thus a more classic textbook is still required.
